Building excellence in New zealand boys' schoolsCIRCLE have now commenced the research project “Building Excellence in New Zealand Boys’ Schools”, with the vast majority of our boys’ schools involved. Phil Cummins spoke about this project at the 2017 International Boys’ Schools Conference in Baltimore and there was a lot of interest from schools overseas as well. This research will stretch over two years, with a final report in May 2019.
We want to find out what and why we’re doing well in our schools as well as looking at how we can do even better. All participating schools will get access to the overall findings and at the end of the research, each school will get access to an individual report on their school (this will be anonymous to other schools). It is hoped that we can present some preliminary findings at this year’s IBSC conference at The Southport School on the Gold Coast, as well at our annual conference in Wellington in May. |
