KEYSTONE TRUST SCHOLARSHIPS

Applications now open: 2 june - 14 august 2020

Do you have students who are thinking about a career in construction, engineering, architecture, property, urban planning, or quantity surveying?  If so, applications for a Keystone Trust scholarship open from 2 June to 14 August and may provide them with the financial and industry assistance to create a successful future.
For the past 26 years, Keystone Trust has been offering scholarships to students with financial and circumstantial need to undertake tertiary study in property and construction-related programmes.
“For those of our students who have been fortunate enough to be selected for a Keystone Trust Scholarship, it has been truly life changing. As a school we have supported these wonderful young people, and it is so reassuring to know that we are passing them into the hands of the Keystone Trust Family, where they are mentored and guided, allowing them to realise their dreams. In our experience these students are acutely aware of the difference the Trust makes in their lives and they are keen to ‘pay it forward’, eager to help nurture others in their communities. We cannot thank the Keystone Trust enough.”
Deidre Shea, Principal, Onehunga High School
“I applied for a Keystone scholarship as I wanted to go to university, but I knew that it is very expensive. The scholarship also mentioned mentoring and support which I thought would be cool – but little did I know that would be the most valuable thing about Keystone Trust. Their willingness to help, mentor or just catch up for a quick coffee is amazing. The effort that goes into creating a supportive environment is invaluable”
Renee Wootton, Massey High School and Keystone Trust Alumnus 2014.
Graduate Engineer with WSP, Queenstown
Scholarships include financial assistance of $5000 pa for up to a period of three years, mentoring and networking opportunities, introductions to our industry sponsors, workshops, site visits and internships.

The purpose of The Foundation of Student Horizons is to afford disadvantaged youth the opportunity to travel on an overseas school trip with their peers.

The Foundation of Student Horizons is a registered Australian Charity with DGR (deductible gift recipient) status. The Foundation was established by Jamie and Brooke Wansey, owners of educational travel company (Student Horizons), who saw the need to fill a gap in the community - to ensure all students have access to travel opportunities and experiential learning whilst at school.
The Foundation of Student Horizons provides financial support to those students with significant financial hardship, helping to reduce the number of young people unable to take advantage of educational travel opportunities during secondary education.
